Lotus' Director of Vehicle Engineering Retiring

After 44 long years, Rober Becker is retiring from Group Lotus. Becker joined Lotus in 1966 as an assembly line worker. Lotus founder, Colin Chapman quickly saw Becker's engineering skill and moved him to that department, where he spent the next four decades creating someone of most exotic desgins ever seen on the road.

Last year, Lotus introduced the Evora, with the direction of Becker; going from idea to production car in just two-and-a-half years.
