Car Fact of The Day

Professor Ferdinand Porsche founded the company "Dr. Ing. h. c. F. Porsche GmbH" in 1930. This company did not build any cars, but instead offered motor vehicle consulting and developmental work. One of its first assignments was the Volkswagen Beetle. Porsche did not build its first car until 1939, called the Porsche 64, using many components from the Volkswagen Beetle. Glow Plug - An electrical plug, similar to a spark plug, that preheats the combustion chamber of a diesel engine to assist with cold starts.

Spyker Shows Interest In Saab


Spyker Cars confirmed today that it was interested in GM's Saab brand. GM stated that it would be looking into potential bids until the end of December, and, that if no suitable bids were found, Saab would be shut down.
