Debuting at the 2010 Washington Auto Show in Washington D.C., The Aveo RS is poised to gather some attention.Powered by a 1.4L I-4 engine, it produces a spunky 138 horsepower. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission in the hopes of creating an enjoyable driving experience. The Aveo RS rides on 19-inch, five-spoke rims with Boracay Blue calipers, and also accents GM's global design cures, like its large dual opening grille. The aggressive design in the front is mimicked in the back of the car with center exit exhaust pipes and spoiler.
Production is to start late 2010 in the Orion Assembly plant in Orion Township, Mich., where 1,200 jobs are expected to be created. A price has yet to be announced.
