Peugeot-Citroën Looking At A Share of Mitsubishi Motors


The French Puegot-Citroen is looking at purchasing a controlling stake in Mitsubishi Motors. If the deal goes through, the result would be the sixth largest automaker in the world. With Mitsubishi's presence in the United states, their knowledge of SUV's, and their electric vehicle technology, it is no wonder why Puegot-Citroen is looking at buying a portion of Mitsubishi.

Car Fact of The Day

Henry Ford started the Henry Ford Company in 1901. In August of 1902 however, the company became the Cadillac Motor Company. Then in 1903 Henry Ford launched the Ford Motor Company with the help of investors, such as John and Horace Dodge, who later started their own car company in 1914.

At the 2009 LA Auto Show, NADAguides.com, one of the top in car pricing, announced the 2010 Kia Forte and Kia Forte Koupe as the winner of its 2009 Car of The Award. With its excellent stying, layout, and overall performance, Kia kept the price in check as well. Other nominees included the Ford Fusion Hybrid, the Mercedes-Benz E350, and Nissan 370Z Roadster.

International Car and Truck of The Year Award (LA Auto Show 2009)

At this years 2009 Los Angeles Auto Show, the 2010 Ford Taurus and the 2009 Volvo XC60 took home the International Car and Truck of the year. Courtney Caldwell, creator of the International Car of the Year Award, stated that the winners are chosen to, "reflect our personalities, lifestyles and self-image and how well the automaker achieves that goal through the design and marketing of the vehicle." Congrats to Ford and Volvo for taking home some trophies.
