Cadillac CTS wins "Consumer Reports" Luxury Car Comparison

It looks like Mercedes, Audi, and Lincoln were unable to match Cadillac in Consumer Reports luxury car comparison tests. With a road score of 86, the Cadillac CTS won Consumer Reports "Excellent" score.

The CTS comes with a 3.6L V6 engine with a six-speed transmisson; still offereing great acceleration and smooth shifting. Consumer Reports said that the CTS offered more than its compeitotrs, saying "the ride is supple and controlled and handling is agile and sproty." The Acura RL came in second with a score of 80 and a rating of "Very Good."

Dodge Challenger Appearance Package

If you have a SE or R/T Challenger painted in TorRed, Bright Silver Metallic, Brilliant Black Crystal or Bright White, Dodge's Mopar division is offering two new styling packages for your ride. For the exterior, and $1,995, you can get a factory installed unique body colored hood with a large hood scoop, a "Go Wing" spoiler, and graphics.

On the inside Mopar is offering a Mopar-branded T-handle shift lever, door sill guards, floor mats, and a car cover on manual transmission models, for $780, and silver-finish pedal covers that is included on automatic models for $945.

2010 Mustang Outsells 2010 Camaro in 2009


Though the Chevrolet Camaro was outselling the Ford Mustang month to month as 2009 came to a close, the Ford Mustang edged out the reintroduced Chevy Camaro for overall year end sales. In the ending months of 2009 the Camaro was outselling the Mustang, though in December the Mustang outsold the Camaro. Ford sold 66,613 Mustangs, while Chevy sold 62,618 Camaros. Though the Camaro was not on sale for the first three months of 2009, giving the Mustang a running start.
