The 2009 Corvette Supercar, the ZR1, is not the first Corvette to receive that nameplate. The C3 Corvette, from 1969 to 1971, and C4 Corvette, from 1990 to 1995, all had ZR-1 models, though the difference is that the previous versions had a dash in the nameplate.-Anthony Alaniz
